Colton Epoxy Flooring is a concrete coating and polishing company based in Colton, California, with more than twenty years spent working on slabs across the San Bernardino Valley. We install epoxy garage floors, polished concrete, resinous commercial floors and exterior coatings, and we prepare concrete for other trades.

Twenty years in one valley is worth something specific: we have gone back to floors we installed early on and seen which of them held. That is the only genuinely useful kind of experience in this trade, and it is the reason we argue about surface preparation more than we argue about products.

Our Approach

A finished mid-gray textured driveway coating in Colton running from the garage threshold out to a square edge at the street curb.

Every slab is moisture tested before a single pail is ordered, not after a coating starts lifting. Preparation is mechanical throughout — diamond grinding or shot blasting to a measured concrete surface profile, never an acid etch — because a coating bonded to a softened or sealed surface fails regardless of what is in the pail.

We work in both of Colton’s garage eras and price them separately: 1980s attached tract bays and pre-war detached garages sitting on their own slabs are different jobs, and quoting them the same way means one of the two numbers is wrong. Control joints, spalls and oil-saturated concrete are repaired as part of the floor rather than raised as surprises once a grinder is running.

Products are selected against the South Coast Air Quality Management District limits that apply in this basin, and we tell you which coating category your building falls into before quoting, because the residential and industrial classes are legally separate here rather than a matter of marketing. Cure and return-to-service times are quoted against the actual slab temperature on the day rather than a label average.

You get a written scope naming the preparation method, the coating system, the film build and the cure schedule, so our number can be compared against anyone else’s on the same terms. We also give straight answers about what a warranty does and does not cover, including moisture — which is the dominant way these floors fail and the thing most warranties in this trade quietly exclude.

One crew handles the job from grind to topcoat. Preparation decides whether a resinous floor survives, and handing a ground slab to a different team is where the profile, the joint detail and the moisture finding stop travelling with the work.

What We Do

We install epoxy garage floors, polished concrete flooring, concrete resurfacing, polyaspartic floor coatings and commercial epoxy flooring, along with concrete grinding and surface preparation, metallic and flake epoxy floors, pool deck resurfacing and concrete driveway coatings. Residential garages, commercial kitchens, warehouse and distribution floors, clinical spaces and exterior slabs are all routine work for us.

If you have a floor you are thinking about, we will come and look at it. Estimates are free, the site visit is where an honest number comes from, and we would rather tell you a slab is not worth coating than sell you a floor that will not last.
